Did you know federal agencies set aside 23% of procurement dollars every year for small businesses? In FY19, the federal government awarded $132.9 billion in federal contract dollars to small businesses. Federal contracting may help your business grow but is it right for you? As part of National Veterans Small Business Week, this webinar is being offered to help you navigate through the federal contracting process. It may seem complicated and overwhelming, but we will break it down to easy steps and provide resources available to you. Program eligibility for small business certifications such as 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, and SDVOSB will also be discussed. Speakers: Sheila Taeza of SBA; William Kerr of Hawaii PTAC. This is a virtual event via Zoom, open to the public but Veterans first. Advanced registration is required. This webinar is hosted by VBOC of the Pacific and is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
